Accessibility Statement

Accesserty is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards. Accessibility is part of our mission: we build tools that help others meet accessibility goals, and we hold our own website to the same standard.

Measures to support accessibility

Accesserty takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of accesserty.com:

  • Include accessibility as a core part of our mission and product design.
  • Build the site with our own design system, Accesserty UI Kit, whose components ship with accessible semantics, keyboard support, and focus management.
  • Test our own pages with the same tools we offer to others, including Accesserty DevCheck and axe-core, alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.
  • Provide a keyboard skip link and visible focus indicators.
  • Offer the site in Traditional Chinese and English with correct language metadata.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

accesserty.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.2 level AA conformance across the site.
